Last night was the final pool play night at the North Wamac/Irvington/Grand Prairie Tournament. New Horizon got 23 from Eli Marcum in their 54-27 win over Sandoval. Gage Donoho added 11. Marvin McClain had 21 for Sandoval.
St Mary/Willow Grove beat Ashley 63-33. Reid Hall had 17, Jimmy Gaston 16 and Kayson Woters 12. In the loss, Wade Zgonina had 11 and Grant Glover 10.
Tonight is the championship night. 5pm is the consolation finals between the North Wamac JV and Ashley followed by Sandoval and North Wamac varsity at 6:15 for 3rd. Then the championship at 7:30 will feature New Horizon and St Mary/Willow Grove.
