Franklin Park hosted the opening round of their Class L girl’s basketball regional last night. They knocked off Centralia 42-4. Lexie malan had 12 for Salem, Maci Susmena and Brynn Kessler had 8 each and Kenna Benjamin and Braelan Knaak added 6. In the other semifinal, Wesclin routed Carlyle 48-11. The championship game will be tonight at the Bobcat Den starting at 6pm.
Also in Class L last night, Olney beat Flora at Carmi 17-11 followed by Mt Carmel over Carmi 28-16. They will play for their championship tomorrow at 5.
