Brownstown/St Elmo hosted Mt Olive in a 1a girls basketball game and it was a historic night at the gym. Between the JV and Varsity games Brownstown inducted their inaugural Sports Hall of Fame Class. The inductees included 10 former players, 2 coaches and 3 teams including the 65-66 and 93-94 boys basketball teams as well as the 93-94 boys baseball team.
Then during the Lady Bombers running clock win, sophomore Dayana Haslett went over 1000 points. Needing 19 to reach the milestone, she poured in 10 first quarter points and had 15 by halftime. Then a pair of steals leading to layups gave her the honor.
