The Salem Wildcats put together their most complete game to date as they beat down the visiting Freeburg Midgets avenging an earlier season loss winning 53-41.
The Cats defense was strong as Freeburg didn’t get into double figures on the scoreboard until 2:34 left in the half when Salem led 20-11. Freeburg turned it over 23 times to Salem’s 4. Caden Bee finished with a game high 22 points and added 7 rebounds. Donovan Williams added 4 three pointers and finished with 16. The Wildcats are 2-5 overall and 2-3 in the league.
Salem returns to action on Saturday when they host Columbia on WJBD.
The Salem JV got 27 points from Caleb Anthony in their win 51-40. Seth Bailey added 11.
