A 26-year-old Centralia man faces multiple charges including Class X home invasion with a deadly weapon after allegedly entering a Junction City home twice early New Year morning.
Oslo White of Saddler Street is accused of entering the home on the 1300 block of Adams Street each time through a window. The first time he allegedly struck a former girlfriend while the second time he allegedly was armed with a knife.
On both occasions, the two occupants ran on foot to a bar next door for help. White was reportedly gone by the time Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies arrived both times. He was located at a home in Sandoval later when a deputy received a tip that is where he could be located.
White faces a burglary arrest for the first entry and Class X home invasion with a deadly weapon for the second entry. He’s also being held for felony theft and felony criminal damage to property. White is accused of taking both occupants’ cell phones during his first entry and a Play Station the second time.
Once in the squad car, White complained of a medical condition and was taken to the hospital where he was later released when refusing to cooperate. He was then transported to the Marion County Jail where he remains pending a decision on formal charges and a first appearance in court.
The sheriff’s department reports no injuries.
