There is a new team that will begin play this year in the Clinton County Baseball League. Rudie Walker tells WJBD/Q92 Sports that the Odin Mudcats will begin play this year after a unanimous vote was held by other teams to allow them to play. Walker, a former player for Centralia, knew a lot of the people involved and started inquiring and he is now in the process of putting together his 25 man roster.
They also let a team from Edwardsville in the league to make it a total of 10 teams. The plan is to split into 5 East Teams and 5 West. Top four from each side will make the playoffs. The West Division will feature Edwardsville, St Jacob, Trenton, Aviston and Breese. The East Division will be Germantown, Bartelso, Beckmeyer, Centralia and Odin.
