A 31-year-old Salem man has been arrested for unlawful restraint and aggravated domestic battery following two incidents at his home this week.
Spencer Loyd of North Miller is accused of holding the alleged victim against her will when police went to his home Thursday morning to arrest Loyd on an outstanding Clinton County felony theft warrant.
When police first went to the home, no one would answer. They later received a third party call about Loyd being at the home and holding a person against her will.
Police then returned to the home and found Loyd with the alleged victim. They also learned about an earlier aggravated domestic battery on Monday where the alleged victim was injured but did not require hospitalization.
Loyd was taken to the Marion County Jail on the new charges as well as the warrant.
