Its 4 straight wins for the Salem Lady Wildcats as they knocked off visiting Woodlawn last night 62-51.
The Lady Cats took a 23-11 lead after the opening quarter led by Malia Harris who scored 10 of her game high 21 in the opening 8 minutes. Chloe Harness finished with 17 and Katelyn Biegeleisen finished with 10. Salem was solid in the 4th quarter from the free throw line going 10-of-14 in the frame and 14-of-22 in the ballgame.
Woodlawn got 15 each from Cheyenne Bailey and Macy Williams with 13 more from Zoey Shileds in falling to 3-2 on the season.
Salem is 4-1 and 2-0 in the Cahokia, they will host the champs, Breese Central, Tuesday night for first place in the Cahokia on WSIQ.
