The Salem Bowlers traveled to Pana yesterday.
The Varsity Boys got a breakout performance from Freshman Jaxon Ward on their way to winning 3368-2915. Ward had games of 243, 249 and 278 to finish with a 770 series. Keaton Gullion shot 672 with a 236 high game (236, 230, 206), Ryan Detering 669 with a high game of 258 (258, 210, 201), Silas Moats rolled 630 with a 245 high game (200, 185, 245) and Rhett Detering rolled 627 with a high game of 245 (245, 187, 195).
The Varsity Girls won 2557-2103. Willow Amburgey led Salem with a 575 Series and 203 high game. Ava Birch added 519 and Brooklyn Hamilton 517. Amelia Courtright shot 452 series for the Lady Cats.
The JV Girls won 2189-1464. Lilah Borrows led them with a 434 series. Also for the JV girls, Makenzie Hurd shot 362, Cameron Kuhn shot a 384.
