The Downtown Centralia Christmas Stroll is set from three to seven on Friday.
Centralia Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Marcus Holland says 34 businesses are participating in the hunt for ornaments.
He says the goal is to show how many downtown businesses could provide a Christmas shopping experience.
“It is the beginning of December. We’re through Thanksgiving and now we can embrace Christmas and the holiday season fully,” Holland said. “We have carolers, Christmas decorations, the city’s new lights are going to be lit up, so it’s a lot of good feelings for the Christmas season.”
Holland says if you find 15 ornaments you can earn 1 entry into the prize drawing. If you find 30 or more, you will get two entries.
The sheets listing the location of the ornaments are available at the Centralia Chamber Office or you can print one off at the bottom of this story. To submit entries, filled-out sheets need to be brought to the Chamber office.
After the stroll, everyone is welcome to stay around for the downtown Nutcracker Pub Crawl that begins at seven Friday night. Information is available at the Crooked Creek Winery Downtown Believe Pop-Up Bar.
