The National Weather Service has issued Wind Chill and Winter Weather Advisories for the region.

The wind chill advisory is in effect from six Saturday night to six Monday evening while the winter weather advisory is in effect from six Sunday morning until six Monday evening.

The National Weather Service is expecting at least three to five inches of snow and potentially more.    Wind chills over the next two days are expected to be as low as 20 below zero.

Plan on roads rapidly becoming slippery once the snow begins.  Be especially alert when approaching bridges, overpasses, and curves.   The low wind chill values could result in frostbite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken.   If you must venture outdoors, make sure you wear a hat and gloves, making sure all exposed skin is covered.
