At the St Mary’s Invitational last night in opening round games, St Rose beat Trinity 41-31. Nolan Robke had 15 and Clayton Schrage 14 for the Wildcats. Trent Twenhafel had 14 in the loss.
TSJ beat Sandoval in the other opening round game 38-33. James Shoemaker had 19 in the win.
Tonight, North Wamac will take on Odin in the first consolation semifinal at 6pm followed by the first championship semifinal at 7:15 between St Mary/Willow Grove and Selmaville.
In middle school basketball last night, Nashville lost to Murphysboro in a tight game 57-56, Rome beat Raccoon 50-25, Patoka over Opdyke-Belle Rive 38-36.
