For the 2nd straight game to open the season, Selmaville saw their game tying 3 pointer come up off the mark in another 3 point loss, this one 41-38 at Raccoon. Miking Ettress led the Devils with 17 and Braden Rector added 15. Michael Organ finished with 7. Owen Becker had 17 to pace the Rockets, Heydin Purcell finished with 13 and Aaden Rostance 6. Raccoon won the JV game 33-25. Caden Lamb had 17 and Tyler Carruthers 10. Adrian Miller led Selmaville with 9 and Carter Lowe added 6.
Iuka fell to Central City 46-33. Luke Anderson led the Pirates with 17 and Ayden Rose added 16.
The SC Falcons improved to 2-0 with their 58-22 win over Windsor. The balanced scoring attack saw 10 score for Dakota Koehnke’s squad led by Jalen Smith with 12 and Brody Markley added 9. SC won the JV game 22-20 with Trevan Sidwell leading the way with 15.
Patoka dropped their opener to New Horizon 47-40. In the loss, Caden Williams had 12 and Landon Robb finished with 7.
