Salem traveled to Roxana in volleyball action last night with the varsity winning in 3 sets 25-21, 20-25, 25-22 to improve to 17-11 on the season. The night began with the Salem freshmen winning in straight sets. The JV won in 3 sets as well. Salem will travel to Fairfield this weekend for the final games of the regular season before opening up regionals next week.
South Central finished their regular season with a straight sets win over Christ Our Rock 25-11, 25-19 to finish the regular year at 17-15. Jalynn Mitchell had 20 digs, Reagan Roberts had 21 assists, Bailey Wodtka added 7 kills, Kinlee Thompson had 9 kills. The SC JV also won in straight sets to finish the year at 10-6.
Also last night, Mater Dei beat Fairfield, Brownstown/St Elmo over CHBC, Carlyle beat Okawville, Mascoutah over Highland, North Clay beat Cisne and Vandalia lost to North Mac.
