Franklin Park held their baseball/softball awards night last night celebrating the best combined seasons the school has ever enjoyed.
The Class L state champion Bobcats named Zane Applegate the Offensive Player of the Year hitting .474 and MVP. Jax Schaubert was the Defensive Player of the Year and was the Pitcher of the Year going 5-0. Bentley Bryan was the Reliever of the Year with his 1.08 ERA. Kai Graham was the Breakthrough Player of the Year, Owen Tennyson won the Leadership Award.
The Class L state runner up Lady Bobcats also celebrated their state trophy. Emily Parrett received the Pitching Award, Kenna Benjamin won the Defensive Award, Teagan Lobek and Adysen Pracht were co-Offensive Award winners and Maci Susmena won the Lady Bobcat Award.
