It’s state semifinal day in the SIJHSAA for baseball and softball. The Class L Tournaments will be held at Rotary Park in Centralia.
The Lady Bobcats of Salem will play in the softball 1pm semifinal against Carterville with Sparta Lincoln and Marion to follow.
The Wildcats will play at 2pm against Waterloo in the 2nd baseball semifinal following the 1pm game with DuQuoin and Marion.
In Class S at Coulterville in baseball action, Summersville will take on OLMC followed by St John Red Bud and Cisne. In the softball tournament, St John Red Bud takes on New Hope followed by Pinckneyville and Century.
At the Class M tournaments in Pinckneyville, the hosts take on Nashville in the softball semifinal at 1 followed by Goreville and Fairfield. In the baseball tournament it’s Goreville and NCOE followed by Smithton and Nashville.
