The Illinois Department of Public Health on Tuesday reported 3,667 additional cases and 87 COVID-19 related deaths. The deaths included a male in his 70s in Clay County and a female in her 60s in Jefferson County.
The Marion County Health Department did not release new numbers on Tuesday.
The Clinton County Health Department reported 20 new positive cases. There are now 274 on home isolation and two who are hospitalized.
The Jefferson County Health Department is reporting ten new cases. 145 are currently in isolation.
The Fayette County Health Department is reporting six new cases on Tuesday.
The Clay County Health Department is reporting seven new cases.
The Wayne County Health Department had five new cases. There are currently 54 people in isolation and one who is hospitalized.
The statewide positivity rate is now at 4.6-percent for the past seven days. The Southern Illinois Region is at five percent. Marion County remained at 3.8-percent. The Metro-East Region is at 7.7-percent. The East Central Illinois Region is at 5.3-percent positivity over the last seven days.
