Police Beat for Friday, October 4th, 2024

A 42-year-old Salem man was arrested on Thursday by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies for misdemeanor battery.   Craig Taylor of Hotze Road was taken into custody after the sheriff’s department responded to the home to a report of several men who appeared to be ready to fight.   He was released on a notice to appear in court after being taken to the Marion County Jail.

39-yea-rold Richard Burkett of South Poplar in Centralia was arrested by Centralia Police on an outstanding Perry County no-bond warrant.   He remained in the Marion County Jail pending transfer to Perry County.

46-year-old Christopher Ramey of East 6th in Centralia was arrested by Centralia Police on a felony no-bond failure to appear warrant.

Both 54-year-old Roger Parker of Centralia and 37-year-old Brittany Crider of East Oklahoma in Sandoval were arrested on no bond failure to appear misdemeanor warrants.  Parker was arrested by Centralia Police and Crider by Central City Police.
