The Salem Wildcat golfers will hit the Acorns Golf Links today for their 2a Regional. They will join Centralia, Breese Central, Columbia, Freeburg and Mount Vernon among the field of 10. The qualifiers advance to the Anna Jonesboro Sectional at Union County Country Club.
Competing at Mattoon will be a field including Altamont, Effingham and Olney. And at Roxana the host Shells and Wood River are competing.
In the 1a regionals feeding to the Zeigler Sectional. Vandalia will compete at Timer Lakes Golf Course in Mt Olive. Competing at the Effingham Country Club will be St Anthony, Flora, North Clay and TTown. At Governor’s Run in Carlyle it’s Althoff, Mater Dei, Carlyle, Christ Our Rock, Nashville, Okawville and Sandoval. And at Union County Country Club in Cobden it’s Woodlawn.
