The Class L softball regional with Franklin Park hosting Wesclin will be played today at Salem after yesterday’s game was rained out. The winner advances to the championship tomorrow. Game time at 4:15. The other semifinal will see Carlyle hosting Centralia today.
Also at Mt Carmel, Flora takes on Olney at 4 followed by Carmi and Mt Carmel.
In Class M, Nashville will host Breese while Okawville welcomes Woodlawn with that championship at the high seed next Monday. At Fairfield, Rome fell to the hosts 14-0.
Patoka opened up their Class S regional with a 15-5 win over Sandoval. They advance to take on top seed Selmaville today at 4:30. Aubree Murray drove in 4 runs on a great day that included a home run. Charlee Murray added 2 RBI.
The other quarterfinal saw Odin/ACA beat Raccoon/Kell 13-1. They will play the winner of St Mary/Willow Grove and Central City.
Today in Fairfield, Jasper takes on Iuka while at Grayville it’s the hosts taking on Allendale St Mary.
Also in Region 6, Waltonville beat Bethel 17-0, Field over Ewing 4-3. Today it’s Summersville and Bluford followed by Opdyke St Mary and Spring Garden.
