Coach Tim Koch told WJBD/WSIQ “It was a great day for our kids and our program and we hope to build confidence from the victory! I’m just so happy for our two seniors Zerek and Isaiah to get to go out with a meet Championship their senior year. They both started this journey with me 4 years ago and wanted it today. It’s been great to see Wyatt Gregory step up and really improving by taking a lot on his shoulders this season to help us win! Im grateful for freshman Cameron Jones, who constantly works to get better, he’s accepted his role on the team and for him to get a taste of our team winning an Invitational his freshman year is exciting. I’m especially excited for Carson Pigg on his first high school cross country individual win! I can’t say enough about our lone female runner, senior Rylee Brammeier as well, she just keeps on putting together great race after great race this season! She is another who has been with through it all these last 4 years. These are memories made that last a lifetime and it’s always pretty special to achieve something like this alongside your own son. God has blessed Zerek and I with some special moments and today’s victory is right up there at the Top!”
