Franklin Park beat Olney on the road 14-0 in four innings. Owen Tennyson and Kai Graham both doubled. Graham drove in 5 runs and scored 3 times. Eli Purdy and Bentley Bryan drove in 2 runs each. The Bobcats also got RBI from Tennyson and Emit Gibson. Jax Schaubert was the winning pitcher going 3 innings allowing 3 hits and 3 strikeouts. Rhett Starnes got the final 3 outs.
Patoka dropped their first game after 13 straight wins to start the season, falling on the road at Altamont Lutheran 9-5. The Rockets got off to a hot start scoring 5 times in the first with Patoka playing catch up the rest of the way. Hunter Thompson went 2-4 with 3 RBI. Dane Jolliff and Kru Cain also drove in runs. Brody Spicer added 2 hits and 2 runs scored.
South Central fell to the Bullets 2-0. Ben Skibinksi went 2-3in the loss with singles also from Nathan Knutt and Aiden Strobel. Colton Tockstein was great in the loss striking out 13 and walking just 1 allowing just 3 hits and 1 earned run.
Central City honored 4 8th graders tonight and secured the win against Woodlawn 8 to 3.
