The Salem Wildcats competed at the 2-man Carbondale Terrier Scramble. The Cats were 4th as a team out of the 18 team field shooting 212. They were led by the team of Rhett Detering and Landen Maxey who fired a 68. Logan Lockhart and Aden Bass shot 70 and Kyler Sapp and Ryan Detering shot 74.
The Orphans golf team will host Nashville to Greenview.
EIU has opened up their golf season with the first round yesterday of the SIU-E Invitational at Gateway National. The Panthers squad includes freshman Christ Our Rock grad Parker Boehne.
