CHICAGO (AP) — Jared Rhoden scored 18 points as Seton Hall beat DePaul 76-68 despite not making a field goal for nearly nine minutes to finish the game. The Pirates had a 64-47 lead after Myles Cale’s 3-pointer at the 8:57 mark then went 14 of 14 at the free-throw line for the remainder of their points. DePaul got within six twice in the final 2:09. The victory have Kevin Willard his 100th Big East win, including conference and tournament games. Sandro Mamukelashvili had 15 points and eight rebounds for Seton Hall. Javon Freeman-Liberty had 22 points for the Blue Demons.

CHARLESTON, Ill. (AP) — Terry Taylor banked in a game-winning 3-point shot at the buzzer as Austin Peay foiled Eastern Illinois’ comeback 74-71. Taylor poured in a season-high 38 points plus 17 rebounds for Austin Peay. The Panthers rallied from 14 down and tied at 71-71 with 13 seconds left after Mack Smith hit back-to-back 3-pointers. Reginald Gee had eight points and six rebounds for Austin Peay. Carlos Paez added six assists. Smith had 16 points for the Panthers, shooting 4 of 12 from distance. Josiah Wallace added 14 points. Barlow Alleruzzo IV had 13 points and Marvin Johnson 12.

EVANSTON, Ill. (AP) — Jordan Hamilton scored 19 points, Veronica Burton had 18 points and seven assists, and No. 22 Northwestern beat Iowa 77-67. Sydney Wood added 17 points, seven rebounds and six assists for the Wildcats. The Hawkeyes closed within 66-60 with 7:01 left in the game. From there, Wood scored seven of Northwestern’s final 11 points to help the Wildcats close it out. Monika Czinano scored a career-high 28 points on 13-of-14 shooting and grabbed a season-high 12 rebounds for Iowa. Megan Meyer added 11 points and McKenna Warnock grabbed a career-high 17 rebounds.
