Gregg & Wabash Valley Bass Fisherman Off To Good Start At National Championships

The Wabash Valley College Bass Team got off to a solid start today in the Strike King Lure Company College Bass National Championship. The team of Dalton Phelps and Gannon Stork led the way with 13 lbs. 8 oz. and are currently tied for 12th place. Caden Pearson and Nathan Kallstrand kept their love for Lake Hartwell high weighing in 11 lbs. 5 oz. which has them in 30th place. Brogan Gregg and Peyton Rose had 10 lbs. 3 oz. and sit in 47th place. Hunter Sandschafer and Blake Beckmann had 9 lbs. 15 oz. which has them in 59th place. Hunter Russell and Benny Blank had 8 lbs. 6 oz. good for 98th place.
Top 12 teams advance to Championship Saturday for an opportunity to move on to the Bassmaster College Bracket. Top two teams from Wabash Valley College will get our school of the year points to get the 2024-25 season going on a positive note. Overall it was a very good day for the anglers from the Bash. Hoping to have a slightly better day tomorrow to have several fantastic finishes. Launch is at 6:30 a.m. eastern time with the weigh-in starting at 2:30 p.m. eastern. Be sure to tune in.
