Aviston Express Wins 3rd Straight District Title….Breese Juniors run At 5th Division Is Done

The Aviston Express won the District 23 Senior Legion baseball tournament over the weekend with their 6-4 win over Trenton.  It was the Express 3^rd straight District title.  Easton Becker earned the win.  Brody Zobrist had 2 outfield assists and a 2-run double.  Aviston is 16-7 heading to the 5^th Division Tournament at the Bethalto Sports Complex Friday at 6pm.

The Breese Juniors run at the 5^th Division Tournament ended with an 11-2 loss to Orient.  Blake Horstmann doubled and Kameron Biggs singled.  Breese season ends at 13-17.
