Donna J. Pickett, age 85 of Salem, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020, at Salem Township Hospital.
Donna worked as a waitress at Austin’s Restaurant for over 30 years. She was a member of the Southern Illinois Antique Power Club where she served as the flea market chairman for over 25 years.
Funeral services for Donna J. Pickett will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Crouse Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Summit Prairie Cemetery in Salem. There will be a visitation on Tuesday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Donna was born on June 7, 1935, in Wyoming, Illinois the daughter of Don and Verna (Graves) Hopkins. She married Fred Pickett on July 1, 1964, at the Salem Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Fred Pickett; children, Tanya and Ed Rose, Dean Reeves, Doug, and Lynne Reeves, and Dan and Shelly Pickett; grandchildren, Heather and Jeff Hoffman, Stacy Collier, Mathew, and Hollie Arnold, Aaron Reeves and Shayla, Nikki and Jakeb Spain, Dawna and Daniel Meador, April Pickett, and Adam Pickett; 14 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Roger Sullens; sister-in-law, Nancy Hopkins; and longtime friends, Nick and Joyce King.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Verna Hopkins, and a brother, Carl Hopkins.
