A 21-year-old Centralia man was injured Sunday night when his dirt bike ‘flipped’ on Old Centralia Road.
Jefferson County Sheriff’s Officials say the sheriff’s department became aware of the crash when Jacob Foutch of South Maple was being taken via private vehicle to SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon and was intercepted by Jefferson Fire and Litton’s Ambulance near Boyd for the rest of the trip.
The dirt bike had already been removed so deputies did not respond to the scene.
Officials say the injuries were not life-threatening.
