Robinson and Olney will play today for the District 1 Tournament with Robinson currently in the driver’s seat at 3-0 in tournament action after last night. In the opener, Robinson handed Olney their first loss in the semifinal 7-1. Elliott Jansen won his 2nd game of the tournament, going the distance with 13 strikeouts.
Olney then fell to an elimination game last night against Mt Carmel. The Fighting Squirrels won to setup the rematch with Robinson today for the title at 6pm. Olney would have to win today and the “if necessary” game tomorrow. If Robinson wins tonight, they will head to the State Tournament.
