Louetta Price, 68, of Centralia, passed away Friday, December 4, 2020 at her home. Louetta enjoyed watching shows and spending time with her family and friends.
Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, December 20, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Centralia American Legion Post 446. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family and will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home and Cremation Services at 235 North Sycamore Street Centralia, Illinois 62801, (618)532-3523, who is honored to be of service to the Price Family. Louetta is survived by her three children: Jerry Sylvester of Champaign, Shon Price of Breese, and Michelle Olsen of Tennessee; seven grandchildren: Kayla Price, Zacary Wright, Todd Hempel, Kacie Sylvester, Shivaya Jones, Naudiya Olsen-Toney, and Lydia Olsen; five great grandchildren; two sisters: Loretta Smith of Centralia and Brenda Burnsmier of Fairmont; several nieces and nephews; a step-daughter Grace Gabbart and 5 step-grandchildren Tryston Price, Alyssa Gabbart, Jada Gabbart, Amanda Galbreath, and Cayleb Price; and special friends: Becky Phillips and Drewsella Jordan and daughter Tender.
She was born October 16, 1952 in Champaign, the daughter of Robert Sylvester and Gloria (Harrison) Sylvester. She married Frederick Price in December of 1970 and they later divorced. She was preceded in death by her parents: Robert & Gloria Sylvester, a grandson: Johnathon Price, a brother: Robert Sylvester, Jr. and two sisters: Patricia Welking and Sandra Phillips.
