The High School Baseball Summer League Tournament hosted by Salem got most of the first semifinal in before the rain and thunderstorms delayed the rest.
Centralia and Mt Vernon were playing after 6 innings when thunder and rain caused the postponement until tonight at 5:30 when they will resume action in the 7th with Mt Vernon on top 7-3. The Rams plated 5 runs in the sixth to take the lead.
After the completion today of that game, Salem and Flora will play in the other semifinal at 7pm. The trophy games are tomorrow with the 3rd place game at 5:30 and the championship at 7:30. Every game is at Salem High School.
