A 36-year-old Salem woman was injured in a single vehicle crash on the Charleston Road a quarter mile south of Tonti Road northeast of Salem on Sunday morning.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies say Danielle Hicks of Keener Drive reported becoming light headed before she ran into the roadside ditch.
The Salem Fire Protection District was called for assistance, but Hicks was out of the small SUV before their arrival.
Hicks was taken to Salem Township Hospital for treatment.
The crash occurred around ten Sunday morning.
