Odin Firemen were called out early Monday morning to a report of a structure fire on Princess Avenue in the Royal Lakes neighborhood.
The fire was actually a large rubbish pile on Queens Avenue on the Zachary Horton property. Once Odin firemen learned of the nature of the fire, automatic mutual aid from Salem and Sandoval was canceled.
Odin firemen extinguished the fire. They were on the scene for about an hour beginning at 1:15 Monday morning.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies who were in the area responded to the fire and took Horton into custody and the Marion County Jail when learning he had an outstanding no-bond major traffic warrant.
