The Franklin Park Bobcats competed in their last regular season cross country meet of the year.

In the varsity girls race, the Lady Bobcats fell to Olney 41-27.  Aila Laird and Kendall Zimmermann led the girls with 2nd and 3rd place finishes of 12:25 and 12:26.  Ella Robinson came in 9th, Brianna Redenbo 13th, and Finley Purcelli 14th.

In the varsity boys race, the Bobcats beat Olney 17-50.  Eli Baker led the Bobcats with a first place finish of 11:10.  Hunter Malan and Robbie Shober raced to 2nd and 3rd with times of 11:23 and 11:24.  Caidien Beer and Cole Casburn were 5th and 6th in 11:28 and 11:33 with 6th grader Payton Gullion 7th in a time of 11:44.

The JV girls finished second behind Olney.  The Bobcats were led by Cadenyce Towal in 4th, Nora Purcell in 6th, Jocelyn Crites-Burgess in 9th, Jaxey Donoho in 10th, and Addison Lever in 11th.

The JV boys had a nearly perfect score of 16 with finishers in 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6th places.  Avery Gullion and Alex Spencer battled it out for 1st and 2nd blazing the trail in 9:30 and 9:32.  Scout Purcelli and Nate Lowry came in 3rd and 4th.  Caleb Squibb rounded out the scoring with a 6th place finish.

The varsity Bobcat teams will compete next Wednesday, October 14th in the Regional competition at Franklin Park.  Come cheer on our hard-working runners at 4:30 pm.
