The SIJHSAA state baseball and softball tournaments continue tomorrow with semifinals contests. The Class L tournaments will be at Centralia while the Class M and S Tournaments are to be held in Pinckneyville.
In Baseball Class L, the Franklin Park Bobcats are riding a 14-0 record as they take on Marion in the first semifinal. The game has been moved up from 10am and will now start at 9:30 on AM 1350, 92.1 FM and WJBDRadio.com. The 2nd game of the day will feature Benton and Highland.
In Class M baseball, Hardin County takes on Christopher and Albion takes on St Boniface, Edwardsville.
In baseball Class S semifinals, Our Lady Mt Carmel takes on Cisne and Waltonville plays St Joseph Catholic.
In softball action, the Class L semifinals will see Carlyle and Murphysboro as well as Carmi and Carterville. In Class M, NCOE plays Nashville while Crab Orchard takes on Pinckneyville. In Class S softball it is Dongola and Coulterville as well as New Hope against Willow Grove/St Mary’s Centralia who will open at 11am.
