The Salem Wildcats open up their 3a regional with a trip to Carbondale tonight. Game time at 6pm and the pregame on WJBD starting at 5:50. The winner advances to the Marion semifinal on Wednesday with top-seed Centralia waiting.

The SC Cougars honored their seniors and finished up their regular season in style with a win over rival North Clay 67-43. Senior Max Magnus led the Cougars with a great game scoring 24. Freshman Westin Neilson added 16 and Seth Bergman added 11. Jacob Smith, the other senior on the roster, had 7 points. The two teams will play once again tonight in the opening of the 1a Regional, this time the game will be in Louisville.
Also in 1a, Altamont hosts Mulberry Grove, Sandoval is at Webber, Christ Our Rock at home against Wayne City, St Anthony hosts Ramsey, Patoka/Odin travels to St Elmo/Brownstown, Woodlawn hosts Lebanon.
In 2a tonight, Mater Dei hosts Nashville, Carlyle at home against DuQuoin, Flora stays home to play Toledo, Wood River at Piasa, Vandalia goes to Robinson.
