North Wamac 7th Grade Tournament Finishes Up Tonight

The North Wamac 7th grade tournament continued last night.

Central City advanced to the championship with their 55-27 win over North Wamac/Irvington.  Bo Goewey led Central City with 16, Drew Jack 15 and Kade Jackson added 12.  Dawson Deering had 18 in the loss.

Also into the finals was New Horizon who beat Raccoon 54-24.  Eli Marchum had 14 along with Asher Vellor in the win and Hunter Malekovic added 10.  John Organ had 19 for Raccoon in the loss.

The consolation semifinal saw Centralia Trinity St Mary’s bet 10 from Ronnelman in their 42-22 win over Willow Grove.  Tristan Petrea had 12 in the loss.

Odin nipped Ashley 36-35.  Eli Sutherland had 13 for Odin, Parker Simpson added 8.  Wyatt McConnell had 18 for Ashley.

Tonight’s schedule will see the 7th place game start at 4pm with Willow Grove and Ashley followed by TSM and Odin for 5th place.  NWI and Raccoon play at 6pm for 3rd and the 7p championship tonight will have Central City take on New Horizon.
