The SC Cougars advanced to the semifinals of the NTC baseball tournament after a 10-0, five-inning win over Dieterich in the opening game. Spencer Johannes tossed a no-hitter for SC who improved to 17-3 on the season. He walked 2 and struck out 9 in the win. At the plate, Sam Rubin drove in 3 runs, Brandt Hiestand added 2 RBI with Beau Jolliff, Sebastian Cowger, Aiden Dodson and Ethan Dunn each with RBI. SC advances to the semifinal on Wednesday when they host St Anthony at 4pm at Lions Field.
