The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is looking for the driver of a pickup truck involved in a two vehicle crash on Green Street at the Norton Road intersection that left the scene without stopping.
The sheriff’s department reports the driver of the truck had reportedly slowed to turn onto the Norton Road but had signaled to turn the other direction. As a result, a car driven by 31-year-old Kaylin Courtney of 16th Street in Centralia attempted to go around the turning vehicle and the pickup turned into the side of her car.
Courtney was not injured.
The sheriff’s department reports minor damage to the side of her car.
The crash occurred at 7:45 Saturday morning.
