The Salem Lady Wildcats traveled to East Alton Wood River to close down their conference and regular season and came home with a 65-37 victory. Kale Benjamin led Salem with 19, 15 from Jordan Kessler and 13 from Emma Gregg. Salem will travel to Triad on Saturday at 1pm to open their 3a regional in a game you can hear on WJBD.
Sandoval knocked off visiting South Central on Senior Night 59-46. Amiya Ray scored a career high 33 in the win and Lexi Calhoun added 11. SC senior Taegan Webster entered the game 57 points shy of Abbi Hahn’s career girls scoring mark at SC, she finished with 19 and sits just 38 points shy as the Lady Cougars open up regional play next week. Sandoval will open up regional play at 2pm Saturday at home against visiting Christ Our Rock.
