The Salem Fresh/Soph split their games at Mater Dei last night.
The Freshmen opened with an exciting 53-51 overtime victory as Avery Gullion found Marquis Ettress on the block who made the shot and was fouled with seconds left to lift Salem to the win. The Wildcats got 14 from Avery Gullion to lead the way. Lucas Deomes added 12, Ettress 10 and Landen Maxey added 9. The Salem freshmen return to action tomorrow morning at Breese Central.
The sophomores lost 41-36. Eli Baker led Salem with 11, Caden Bevolo and Payton Gullion had 7 each with 6 from Eli Lograsso.
