The Class S State Tournament opens Saturday at Rend Lake. WJBD will be broadcasting the Central City Citians opener against Rome at 9:30. The winner will play on Monday against either Tamaroa/St Bruno or Cisne. The state semifinals are Thursday with the state trophy games next Saturday. We will carry ever Citians game throughout the tournament.
Altamont Lutheran will open up against Waltonville at noon with that winner getting either St Mary Catholic or St Joe Olney.
The Class M boys opening round is set for tomorrow. Nashville will take on Chester followed by Unity Point and Gallatin County, then Aviston and Sesser/Valier followed by Woodlawn and Joseph Arthur Middle School.
