The Selmaville Rockets dropped their Class S regional championship at Patoka to Altamont Lutheran 39-23. Logan Butts and Gavin Harper had 8 each and Jaxon Ward 7 for the Rockets.
Central City won their Class S regional title over New Horizon 45-26. The Citians were last years state runner up to Woodlawn, and have blown through the season with just 1 loss as they head to state this weekend.
Tonight in Class S, Rome will host Kell for the regional title at 6pm.
In Class M on Saturday, Nashville won the Breese Regional beating the host District 12 60-36. Tonight Woodlawn will play the hosts at Wayne City for their regional title.
The Franklin Park Bobcats will open up the Class L regional at Centralia tomorrow when they take on Carlyle at 6pm in the night’s 2nd game following Centralia and Wesclin at 5:30. The championship will be on Thursday night.
South Central won their IESA regional semifinal over CHBC 50-37. Colton Cartright had 16 and Dillon Gillespie added 12. The Falcons will play Wednesday at 6pm against top seed Central A&M. SC is 14-8 on the year.
