The Salem Lady Wildcats only had 15 points after 3 quarters last night at home with Columbia, but dominated the 4th outscoring the Lady Eagles 22-12 to win 37-32. Salem hit 14-of-19 free throws in the game including 2 from Jordan Kessler with 10 seconds left to clinch the game. Kayla Felgenhaur led Salem with 15, Emma Gregg added 11. The Lady Cats return to action Monday when they travel to Roxana.
Last night, Mount Vernon knocked off Althoff 64-48 to improve to 22-4 on the season and will look to win their 35th straight South Seven Game against visiting Centralia on Monday night. The Annies and Lady Rams played earlier this year with Mount Vernon squeaking out a win in overtime.
South Central fell to Dieterich in overtime 73-65. Taegan Webster led SC with 25, Percilla Reid and Lauren Johnson each had 10.

Top ranked Lincoln and Colorado State commit Kloe Froebe traveled to Taylorville and knocked off the Tornadoes 72-32 to improve to 26-0. Froebe, who is now just 90 points from 3,000 for her career, finished with 23 Points, 12 Rebounds & 7 Assists in fewer than 3 quarters of work. The Railers tied a record for made 3’s in a game with 14.
