Southwestern Illinois tripped visiting Kaskaskia, 80-77, in Bellevile.
The Blue Storm starters contributed 71 of the team’s points, led by Nazier Leonard’s 25-point night.
Saxton Hoepker had 16 points while Dallas Rufus, Nzube Mekkam and Jacobi Huddleston scored ten points each. Huddleston pulled down 11 rebounds.
Will Vasser topped the 12-2 Blue Devils with 25 points. Lyonel Hodges scored 13, Caleb Jenkins, 11 points with 11 rebounds while Eric Price scored ten.
SWIC led 34-30 at halftime.
Vincennes 90; Lake Land 67
The fourth-ranked Vincennes Trailblazers scored a rugged 90-67 road win at Lake Land in Mattoon.
Kris King led Vincennes (15-1) with 20 points while Ryan Oliver and Lebron Thomas added 19 each, both hitting 9-11 free throw attempts.
Victory Lado came off the bench to score ten points including a couple critical treys in each half.
The Lakers (11-4) stayed close off the efforts of Aaron Davis who scored 19 points in the first 15 minutes of the game before picking a second personal foul.
The VU defense stifled Davis with only two free throws in the final half.
Sean DeKovachich scored 19 points for Lake Land while Ahmaad Roberts scored 12 off the bench.
Vincennes which led 40-36 at halftime, hit 29-37 free throw attempts compared to 13-18 for the Lakers.
John A Logan 84; Lincoln Trail 63
Defending NJCAA champion John A Logan squared the Volunteers’ season record at 7-7 with an 84-63 home win over Lincoln Trail.
Julian Norris and Jordan Logan who had three 3’s, each scored 19 points.
Isaac James had 13 points and Eliot Lowndes added ten.
The Vols hit eleven treys in the game.
Lincoln Trail (4-9) got 15 points from Shay Awuwoloye and 12 by Cadden Huttenlocker.
JAL led 42-28 at halftime en route to a fourth-straight win.
Olney Central 85; Shawnee 78
Olney Central turned-back Shawnee, 85-78, in Ullin.
The Blue Knights (10-4) were led by Damarion Walkup and Jakobe Thompson who combined for 53 points. Walkup had 29 points while both players were 9-11 from the foul line.
J.T. Thomas and Darien Lewis added ten points each.
LaDricus Pittman scored all 24 of his points in the final half to pace the Saints who dropped to a 7-6 season record.
Miles Lemon finished with 12 points, ten in the final period while KeSean Washington scored ten.
OCC led 30-29 at halftime.
Wabash Valley 69; Rend Lake 64
Wabash Valley improved to 6-4 with a 69-64 road win at Rend Lake in Ina.
Kaleim Taylor buried three treys and led the Warriors with 18 points. Brandon Rayzor-Moore scored 15 points and Lucas Henderson netted eleven.
Keith Robinson was one of four Rend Lake players in double figures with 15 points. Justin King and Reece Johnson scored 12 points each and Justin Durham had eleven.
Wabash Valley led 38-30 at halftime.
Rend Lake is 5-9 on the season.
