The Salem Lady Wildcats are on the road tonight at Effingham St Anthony. Salem fell 62-55 at home to Olney on Saturday afternoon. Emma Gregg had a double/double for the Lady Cats with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Jordan Kessler added 10 points and Nat Lee finished with 9 along with Kale Benjamin.
The Salem JV earned a win Saturday over Olney 41-37. Kylee Garrison had 11 points, all from the free throw line going 11-of-12 to lead all scorers. Brylee Pennypacker added 10 and 7 from Addy Lever.
Tonight, the SC Lady Cougars host Vandalia, Centralia is at Columbia.
Also over the weekend, Altamont got 30 points from Illinois State recruit Grace Nelson as they knocked off Christopher 53-42 at the Breese Central Shootout. Nebraska signee Amiah Hargrove finished with 26 for Christopher.
