The Salem Bryan Bennett Library is providing two activities for individuals and families on Thursday and Friday during the holiday break.
The first is the Planetarium Experience where you can enjoy a chance to explore the universe in the planetarium dome. Those who attend will learn to recognize some constellations, as well as explore the planets and learn about the types of solar eclipses. There are 15 sessions over the two days. They are available to any age group and for those with limited mobility. Participants will receive a free pair of eclipse glasses. The project is funded in part by the Salem Tourism Board and through private donations.
The second is the North Pole Escape Room. Join friends on a magnetic North Pole adventure to find clues and solve puzzles to escape, with an aurora expected at any moment. Up to eight people can be on one team.
To find out about available times and to register, you may contact the Bryan Bennett Library at (618) 548-3006 or stop and see them at 315 South Maple in Salem.
