The Salem Wildcats fell to 2-6 on the season losing to visiting Mascoutah 59-39. Salem had a 26-25 lead at the halftime break, but were outscored in the 3rd quarter 19-4. Salem was outrebounded 30-18. The Cats will be off until Friday when they return to Cahokia Conference play at home against visiting Columbia.
South Central fell at Vandalia 40-38. Max Magnus led the Cougars with 12.
