The Salem Youth Wrestlers competed Saturday at the Edwardsville Beginners Tournament. Taking 1st place in their divisions were Cambden Branon, Teeghan Luallen and Rylan Moore. 2nd place was Lance Davis and Davis Moore.
On Sunday they were back in action at the Lawrence County Youth Open. Winning their divisions were Bailey Nix, Forrest Hancock, Willie Vincent, Myles Donoho and Kayne Rhynes. 2nd place went to Kasyn Duncan, Ethan Petrillo, Gabe Schleuter, Daemion Ramirez, Hank Thoms, Ryder Duncan and Kade Orrell. 3rd places went to Sawyer Duncan, Izayah Ramirez and Hudson Reese.
