At DuQuoin, Carmi beat Sparta 52-47, DuQuoin over Cairo 71-67 and Herrin beat Sesser 59-31. Tonight, Herrin takes on Sparta followed by Carmi and Sesser and then Murphysboro and Chester.
At the Goreville Tournament, Harrisburg beat Hardin County 71-53, Benton over Anna 69-32 and Goreville routed Johnston City 84-29. Tonight, Hardin takes on Benton, Goreville plays Harrisburg and Anna takes on Johnston City.
At the inaugural Hamilton County Tournament, Edwards County nipped Gallatin County 47-43, West Frankfort beat Wayne City 55-31.
